FINCA Kosovo was the Silver Sponsor of ‘The Night of the Rising Stars’ gala night by the Kosovo American Education Fund (KAEF). In this night, KAEF awarded its 100th scholarship and celebrated its achievements with a fundraising event. FINCA Kosovo became the Silver Sponsor after donating to the fund.

Amongst supporters of the fund was also the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj and the former president of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga.

To mark our contribution to the event, a FINCA photo booth was placed in the reception where all participants took photos to celebrate the night.

The Kosovo American Education Fund (KAEF) is a merit-based graduate scholarship which aims at the economic development of Kosovo through the education of its young people. KAEF fellowships are awarded to a select group of highly talented and committed individuals with strong leadership potential. Originally founded in 2004 with funds from USAID and managed by American Councils, KAEF has invested in over 90 Kosovar students who are already contributing to the public and private sectors of the country
